2018 was such a beautiful year for horror movies and I’m SO happy to be able to say that I saw Hereditary, A Quiet Place and Annihilation all in theaters. Those 3 movies are so beautiful

I cant remember if I EVER enjoyed a remake, let alone a remake of one of my favourite movies but Suspira….oh my god dont even let me get started!!! I guess the reason for that is, as said in this video, that this is a totally different movie – at least in the way of expressing the idea. Im glad that the director chose to make it in his own unique style, just like Dario Argento did all those years ago. I wish this was how most remakes were made than maybe I would enjoy them as well.
P.S. correct me if Im wrong but this actually is the debut of the director. Which if true ofc makes this even a more unbelievably amazing work of art!!!
Quiet Place is so damn boring my wife and I turned it off half way through. Excruciating.
