My second time watching it and it made me squirm in my seat again. Good sci-fi movie.

Part 2 Not From In World

  3. Stupidity to the extent of anger. This movie had every chance of being iconic but the script failed to back up the great concept. Using stupid predictable characters that do stupid things is a lazy way to write a sci fi script and turns it from sci fi to a action drama. Luckily people are getting more knowledge about science than they had when this joke was made, and sci fi movies and shows are aiming to scientifically plausible scripts with characters that don't make r3tard3d choices over and over. From 2005 to 2015, there were only a few great movies made. Covid forced people to stop wasting their time making money and being little social butterflies, and people actually started to educate themselves.

  4. This was a very good movie I would like to see a tv series based off of this movie and watch how they fight back and to make a sequel would probably ruin it

  5. Чушь какая. Намешали войну миров и хищник перемешали с зомби апокалипсисом и этот шлак в Москву запихали. Невероятный бред

There is always that one reckless person, that mess it up for everybody. Your life is one the line and you don't turn around to make sure the door is locked.

Very good movie w/excellent FX. I think it's a Russian production w/a few American actors, but in any case the views in Moscow are fabulous, the FX superb & the plot quite original. It's not perfect, a few so-so moments here & there, but quite enjoyable.

  8. They like to talk pretty loud.

  9. Not bad for a low budget film. Give it a chance.

  10. The Russian would put his hand in liquid then taste it to verify if it is fuel or water LMAO

  11. Why did she swim all the way out of the water just to ran all the way into land? I don’t understand what she was thinking and it makes me so mad, like…girl. Wth?

  12. Spoiler alert: as usual, the pretty girl dies at the beginning, the rest is nasty liberal close-ups.

  13. The thumbnail was so small on my screen that I thought it said, "The Dorkest Hour", lol. I thought it was going to be a comedy.

  14. @JP-ec3ei says:

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Don’t know if I’ll watch it again but it was worth watching once.

  15. Well, ok. Entertaining I suppose. But, the genre… Pure fantasy. Yea, likely other life out there. The chances of traveling the distance here….not likely. So, rest easy youtubers….lol.

  16. A Good film: It takes awhile to get moving, but then really picks up steam at the end. The movie shows you the chaos that unfolds when everything goes to pot.
Glad I got to see this. Many thanks to You Tube for posting.

  42. *The Anatomy of a Good Movie*

Movies, as a form of art and entertainment, have the remarkable ability to captivate audiences, evoke emotions, and leave a lasting impression. While personal tastes may vary, there are certain qualities that contribute to the greatness of a film. A good movie is more than just a sequence of moving images; it is a carefully crafted work of storytelling, cinematography, and performance that resonates with its audience on multiple levels.

First and foremost, a good movie has a compelling narrative. Whether it's a gripping thriller, an epic adventure, or a heartfelt drama, the story serves as the foundation upon which everything else is built. A well-written screenplay keeps viewers engaged from beginning to end, with well-developed characters, intriguing plot twists, and meaningful themes that provoke thought and discussion.

In addition to a strong story, the visual elements of a movie are equally important. Cinematography plays a crucial role in creating the mood and atmosphere of a film, using lighting, framing, and camera movement to enhance the storytelling. From sweeping landscapes to intimate close-ups, every shot is carefully composed to evoke emotion and convey meaning.

Moreover, a good movie is brought to life by talented actors who embody their characters with authenticity and depth. A convincing performance can elevate even the most ordinary of scenes, drawing viewers into the world of the film and making them care about the fate of its protagonists. Whether it's a seasoned veteran or a newcomer making their debut, the actors' dedication to their craft shines through, leaving a lasting impression on audiences.

Furthermore, the audio aspects of a film, including the score and sound design, contribute significantly to its impact. A memorable soundtrack sets the tone for key moments, heightening tension, stirring emotions, or providing moments of levity. Meanwhile, meticulous sound design immerses viewers in the world of the film, whether it's the roar of an explosion, the whisper of wind through trees, or the subtle rustle of clothing.

Lastly, a good movie leaves a lasting impression, lingering in the minds of its audience long after the credits have rolled. Whether it's a thought-provoking message, a breathtaking visual spectacle, or a poignant emotional moment, the best films stay with us, shaping our perceptions and enriching our lives in ways both big and small.

In conclusion, a good movie is a multi-faceted work of art that excels in storytelling, cinematography, performance, and audio design. It engages audiences on an emotional and intellectual level, leaving a lasting impact that transcends the boundaries of time and space. From the classics of Hollywood's golden age to the latest blockbusters of today, the power of cinema to entertain, inspire, and move us remains as potent as ever.

  46. Spoiler

They are thrown from the boat into the water and the sub is literally right there so they swim to it, yet the "American girl" somehow ends up nearly a mile inland completely away from river… how did she even get there and why, instead of going to the sub which again is right there
